"Artists can work with scientists to confront climate change"

This animation highlights the power of visual communication in the face of the climate crisis.
In my climate crisis projects, I challenge the prevailing negative discourse surrounding our planet. My work for World Oceans Day, "The Reversible Pendulum" animation, aims to inspire hope. The animation illustrates the destructive impact of human actions on the environment, from oil rig operations to the bleaching of coral reefs. However, it also portrays the planet's capacity for healing as water levels rise, shutting down the oil rig and triggering a natural recovery process. A looping pendulum serves as a reminder that time is always moving forward, but the animation emphasizes that the damage is reversible.
I firmly believe in the power of visual communication to convey important messages, whether they support a cause or promote products. Diverse individuals bring various skill sets and capabilities to the table, contributing to problem-solving and taking action in unique ways.
